XV Annual Conference of the Association for Humanities Computing and Digital Culture (AIUCD)

The 15th AIUCD 2026 Conference explores how digital technologies enable new forms of active participation in humanities research. From co-creation with communities to collaborative processes for the documentation and valorization of cultural heritage, the conference focuses on practices, tools, and methodologies that make knowledge more open, shared, and inclusive.

Research Topics and Perspectives

The conference welcomes contributions on digital humanities and participation: crowdsourcing, citizen humanities, digital storytelling, digital archives and critical editions, long-term preservation, advanced information systems, computational text analysis, computational linguistics, AI and machine learning for heritage, visualization and mapping, Linked Open Data, ontologies, conceptual grammars, and knowledge representation models.

How to Contribute

Proposals may be submitted as oral presentations or posters. Contributions must be between 3 and 5 pages long, be anonymized, and follow the official template. After double-blind peer review, the Scientific Committee will determine the most appropriate presentation format. A maximum of two first-author submissions are permitted.

Deadlines and Publication of Proceedings

The deadline for submission of proposals is January 31, 2026. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by March 31, 2026, and final versions must be submitted by April 12, 2026. Registration for the conference must be completed by the mandatory deadline of April 19, 2026.
